Monochromatic Nude

Reclining Nude (monochrome) 30" x 50" oil on linen
This is a fun technique I haven't done in a while. I used Terra Rosa and black with a couple stiff brushes a kneaded eraser and oil primed linen.

Love it, very ethereal and sensual at the same time...reminds me, in it's emotional content, of that sculpture we both like at The Musee D'Orsay...

J'aime beaucoup cette note de sensualité qui se dégage de cette peinture... Cette technique me parait géniale... Pourriez-vous m'en dire davantage ?
Gros bisous

This is more than brilliant. Less than a teaspoon of paint and you've created an unbelievable and mesmerizing image. One day, I will thank you in person for the way you have inspired me as an artist.

So tasteful. How could anyone find this offensive. The real offense is the pink stars.

Wow! This is so beautiful! May I say this betrays the influence of Mr. Schmid on your style? Please pardon me if I am wrong.
Best wishes,

Hey Jeremy,
In what way are you using the kneaded eraser and what does it give you that a brush or palette knife wouldn't? Just curious about the technique. This painting is beyond a nude to me. It's beautiful and had a quiet beauty to it. Hard to articulate, but it speaks wonders to me. Thanks, Lori
