Man, it looks like that painting went through a war zone! You can still see the dirt and raindrops (tears?). Did you pull the mosquitoes off?

that was an excellent video...comes across as a comedy to those of us who love to plein air paint. Cool that you posted the unfinished painting. It's apparent that it was GONNA be good.

Yeah it is pretty dirty, you can still see mosquito legs stuck on the ridge just to the left of the peak.

I thought no mosquitos were harmed. I guess that was the video not the painting.

Good piece. You got all of the important stuff down. Those bugs would have driven me nuts.

Looks great AS IS.
Loved reading about your adventures here in Vacationland with Frank, Colin, and Co. (all painters I admire) You were smart to paint on the coast when you were in Maine! No bugs!

Thinking about it, you've got to wonder how many bugs are preserved under the old Impressionist's plein air paintings. Or maybe you've come up with a new technique for texture! Nice painting anyway.

Jeremy, perhaps you can show some more landscapes if you have.

Indeed the one from the vid looks already great!

Loved the video, saw your last show in NY, beautiful. Came here via Frank Gardner. Just another old dog doing daily paintings. The unfinished painting looks great. How could you concentrate with the mosquitos?

I was waiting for floods and fires, and they didn't show, so it could have been worse.

I think you two should go back and finish. I can see it now, Adventures in Plein Air Painting II. It could be a big hit next summer.
