I did this demo for a painting group recently at Robert Lenz'z garden in South Kent Connecticut. I had Katie Swatland model for me, and yes, that's how she dresses for a day of outdoor painting. It was a little challenging because half way through the painting she was in full sun, we had to move to a new location with some shade but I lost that warm yellow light hitting her back.

Amazing! Love the brushwork in this. Great light.
Beautiful sketch, and Katie looks so elegant.
Hard to believe she's a B-Girl, too!
Eee, I love your painting of Katie!!
What's a B-girl?
amazing work jeremy...u_u
Killer painting.
I like the shapes and the nice bit of reflective light on top of her head.
AWESOME PAINTING!!
Love the fluid brushwork!
Absolutely beautiful! Zorn like, really.
Beautiful painting!
Fantastic brushwork as usual!
Jeremy, I love how unfinished this is. It's a good thing the light changed and you were forced to accept the fleeting nature of beauty. Just wonderful! I miss Cali!
